Welcome To The Speaker

The Speaker is a non-profit media organisation driven by young people, for young people. We deliver impartial and accessible guides, explainers and analysis to help make politics understandable for the wider public.

Key to our mission to inspiring the next generation in politics is helping people understand how politics works at home, around the world, the importance of different political institutions, and then how to get involved. Here’s a selection from our Explaining Politics section. For our latest explainers and more, head to Explainers.

Sharing your opinion is about much more than just voting in an election. It’s about challenging perceptions and initiating discussion. It’s about contributing to debates and acting as a driving force for change. It’s about standing up for whatever you believe in – making your voice heard. Discover more in Opinion.
