Westminster Terror Suspect Named

The suspect in the attempted terror attack in Westminster on Tuesday morning has been named as Salih Khater.

The suspect is still reported to be uncooperative with police efforts and a motive is yet to be discovered.

The suspect was a shop manager in Birmingham and believed to be from Sudan.

He studied for a degree at the Sudan University of Science and Technology and has links to both Nottingham and Birmingham.

His flat is amongst three properties to have been raided in the aftermath of the attack.

Khater remains in police custody whilst the investigation is ongoing.
