There have been some warning signs from the EU’s agreement with regards to the Brexit plan.
The European Union’s chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, stated that he would consider the guidelines drawn up by EU leaders when he looks over the UK’s Brexit plan proposals.
Some have seen this as a hint on his behalf about the UK’s “cherry-picking” and “ambitious” behaviour of post-Brexit customs negotiations which may cross the EU’s red lines.
Brexit negotiations with the UK are due to resume on Monday.
