UK Prime Minister Theresa May will face MPs for the first time today since she ordered air strikes over Syria on Thursday.
Parliament is coming out of recess, just days after the UK joined the US and France in taking direct military action against Syria.
It is thought the Prime Minister will call for an emergency debate in the Commons regarding Syria. Meanwhile, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is calling for a new War Powers Act to ensure Prime Ministers cannot launch such strikes in the future without Parliament’s consent.
