Gatwick’s runway is closed again following unconfirmed reports of another drone sighting.
The runway was opened this morning after police and airport operations continued through the night. However, the pilot of the drone remains at large and the drone has not been removed from the skies above Gatwick.
The military is assisting Sussex Police and Gatwick Airport to try and remove the drone, which has caused disruption to over 100,000 people attempting to travel-ready for Christmas.
Passengers are being advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.
