- Give every adult £10,000 to spend on skills and training throughout their lives
- Recruit 20,000 more school teachers
- Scrapping mandatory SATs tests
- Ensure mental health is treated with the same urgency as mental health
- Change the immigration system and take powers away from the Home Office
- Increase the proportion of the UK aid budget committed to tackling climate change
- Introduce a legal, regulated market for cannabis

According to the party, stopping Brexit, the party’s headline plan would help in funding their manifesto pledges.
The leader of the Liberal Democrats, Jo Swinson has said;
This manifesto is a bold plan to build a brighter future for our country, and that starts with stopping Brexit.
“Labour and the Conservatives can’t offer the country a brighter future because they both want Brexit.
“We know that will be bad for our economy, bad for our NHS and bad for our environment.
“Liberal Democrats will stop Brexit and invest in our mental health services, give free childcare to working parents, put 20,000 more teachers into classrooms and take ambitious action to tackle the climate emergency.
“Our politics has been dominated by the two, tired old parties for too long.
The party has claimed that stopped Brexit would create a ‘Remain Bonus’ – a figure they are predicting to be around £50bn.
Labour are expected to release their manifesto on Thursday, and other parties are set follow.
