The Queen is to meet Joe Biden at Windsor Castle next week, Buckingham Palace has announced.
Mr Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will meet the Queen on Sunday 13 June, during their trip to the UK for the G7 summit.
The G7 summit is taking place from 11 to 13 June in the Cornish resort of Carbis Bay, with the UK holding this year’s G7 presidency.
Joe Biden will become the 12th serving US President to meet the monarch, in what will be his first overseas trip since his victory in the US Presidential Election last year.
In a short statement, Buckingham Palace said, “The Queen will meet the President of the United States of America and First Lady Jill Biden at Windsor Castle on Sunday 13 June 2021.”
