Britons have been advised to avoid all non-essential foreign travel for 30 days.
New advice was announced by Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab in the House of Commons on Tuesday. Mr Raab said that changes to the official travel advice were required given the “fast-changing international circumstances”

Mr Raab said;
“The FCO will always consider the safety and the security of British nationals, so with immediate effect I’ve taken the decision to advise British nationals against non-essential travel globally for an initial period of 30 days and of course subject to ongoing review.”
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) said that Britons who travel should be “fully aware of the increased risks of doing so”.
On Monday, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson advised Britons against all but essential travel and contact with others.
Transport for London has announced it will operate on a reduced service starting in the coming days, while many airlines have already cancelled the vast majority of their flights.
