Your chance to ask the government a question about COVID-19

The UK government has announced that it will answer one question from a member of the public each day at their daily Coronavirus Press Conference.

Members of the public over the age of 18 can submit a question, which if chosen, will be answered by a cabinet minister during the live broadcast of the COVID-19 press conference from Downing Street.

Only one question will be answered a day and questions will be chosen by an independent polling organisation. According to the government, they will not be involved in choosing questions and ministers will not see the chosen question before the press conference.

The Downing Street briefings on the UK’s response to COVID-19 are broadcast live daily, usually between 4pm and 6pm.
