US Federal Courts have ruled that Donald Trump cannot end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals programme, which prevents immigrants into the US who crossed the border as minors from being deported. These people, known as Dreamers, have been a target of Trump throughout his presidency and it is likely the president will challenge the ruling at a higher court.

Samsung have become the second company in a matter of weeks to unveil a foldable smartphone. Samsung have said that the prototype will soon be available for manufacture and technology giants Google have already started developing software with such a design. A Chinese firm unveiled a similar product in recent weeks.

A Chinese news company have unveiled the first AI news anchor. The state news agency unveiled two AI hosts – one Chinese speaking and one English speaking – which aim to provide breaking news faster. Currently, the AI has been criticised for its robotic voices and lack of authenticity, but it is bad news for television journalists if this catches on.
