US election results having been coming through, with the Republican party defending the Senate, but losing the House of Representatives. The results were a mixed bag for both parties, with a blue wave that many projected somewhat failing to materialise.

Amazon have announced that they are splitting their HQ across two cities. They are considering placing one centre of operations in Queens, New York City and another in Arlington Virginia. The company are currently based in Seattle, Washington and are promising to produce thousands of new jobs.

Five men have been arrested in London after burning an effigy of Grenfell tower. The men handed themselves into South London police and arrested for a public order offence. The men are heard laughing and joking in the background of a video which showed the burning building which featured drawings of people coloured brown inside the tower.

A Super Mario Bros film is supposedly in the works. According to Variety, Illuminations plans on producing a film centred around the popular video game character. Reaction to the news has been mixed, with some extremely hopeful for the film.
