Protestors are gathering in London this Saturday lunchtime to call for a referendum on the final Brexit deal. The event, organised by the People’s Vote campaign, will be led by young voters and will see a march ahead of a rally in Parliament Square. MPs from all the main political parties are supporting the demonstration, which is expected to be more than 100,000 strong.
Protesters are calling for a final say on the Brexit deal, following long spells of confusion and uncertainty before and after the vote to leave the European Union.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May has already ruled out a referendum on the final deal, but may face pressure today to agree to one after Brexit talks fell off schedule again this week.
Meanwhile, the former UKIP leader, Nigel Farage will be leading a pro-Brexit rally at the Harrogate Convention Centre.
