James Bond fans will have to wait to watch the new film, ‘No Time To Die’, after its release date has been moved due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The film had been due for release on 3 April, but has now been delayed until November. The film will now come out in the UK on 12 November, and on the 25 November in the US.
The producers of the anticipated film said they had postponed the film after ‘careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace’.
There had been calls earlier this week by the founders of MI6 Confidential and The James Bond Dossier that the film’s release should be delayed. An open letter read;
“Just one person, who may not even show symptoms, could infect the rest of the audience”
“This is not the type of publicity that anyone wants.”
The delay of the release comes as the number of cases and deaths of the COVID-19 Coronavirus continues to grow around the world. The number of cases in the UK now stands at over 80, with no deaths so far.
