Syrian government troops have shot down missiles fired at two airbases in the country, according to state TV. The origin of the missiles is currently unclear.
The US has said it did not launch the attack. It is thought Israel may have launched the missiles. An Israeli military spokesperson said “We don’t comment on such reports.”
The reports come just days after the US, UK and France launched missiles at Syria.
