The missile that brought down flight MH17 was from a Russian military convoy, according to Dutch investigators.
Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 was a scheduled passenger flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur that was shot down on 17 July 2014 while flying over eastern Ukraine. All 283 passengers and 15 crew on board.
Russia has repeatedly denied any involvement in downing of the jet.
A spokesperson for the Dutch National Police said the missile was from the Russian military’s 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade based in the Russian city of Kursk.
It is thought investigators are investigating over 100 people for possible connections in the incident.
