Today has seen an astonishing display of support for a second referendum. Who was leading this charge? Dogs!
Wooferendum co-ordinators claim Brexit will not only restrict their doggy movements but also that animals would suffer from leaving the EU but have no substantial proof to prove themselves right. Only claiming there could be a shortage of vets and higher prices in pet food, to some the retaliation is simple, ‘the dogs are not suffering, your coin purse is.’
The march of nearly 1000 dogs has gone on to support the wider campaign to have a second referendum on the final Brexit bill, in order to for the public to not necessarily back out of Brexit, but make it’s interests align with the public’s, as many believe the two have become further estranged in recent months.
The streets of London may not thank the march any time soon as ‘pee station’ were set up along the route with picture of both former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and former UKIP leader, Nigel Farage, where dogs were encouraged to pee on their faces, as they had spearheaded the Brexit Campaign in 2016.
