The world is in truly unprecedented times.
The COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic is impacting us all, and now Britons have been told by the UK government that they must stay at home.
At The Speaker, we have been and will continue our reporting on the Coronavirus pandemic, while linking to official health information. We are though aware that these times are difficult for everyone, and so we have been reporting positive and inspiring stories, as well as key news updates. However, we now want to go further.
Today, we’re launching ‘The Stay At Home Diaries’ – a series of short diaries written by a different person each day amid the Coronavirus pandemic. The diaries will shine a light on the lives of people of all different ages and backgrounds and provide an insight into how different people are coping with life at home during the pandemic.
A new diary entry will be posted every evening at speakerpolitics.co.uk/stayathome and will discuss a variety of topics, including ideas for what to do while at home.
These times are challenging for everyone, but it’s important we stay connected to each other and the wider world, even if from a distance.
If you’d like to submit a diary entry, please email your name to stayathome@speakerpolitics.co.uk
