Euro 2020 postponed until 2021 amid Coronavirus pandemic

Euro 2020 is being postponed for a year due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

The football tournament was due to take place across various cities in Europe starting in June. However, the tournament has now been postponed and is set to run from 11 June to 11 July 2021.

Nearly all professional football leagues have postponed their own domestic seasons until further notice amid the Coronavirus pandemic.3

In a tweet on Tuesday, the Norwegian FA said: "UEFA has decided that the European Championship is postponed to 2021. It will be played from 11 June to 11 July next year. More information coming."
