Cyprus and Lithuania removed from UK's travel corridor lists

People arriving in the UK from Cyprus and Lithuania from 4am on Sunday 1 November will need to self-isolate for 14 days.

It comes as the countries are being removed from the UK's travel corridor lists after rises of Coronavirus cases in both Cyprus and Lithuania.

In Cyprus, the current rate of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people is at 112, while in Lithuania, there are 140 cases of the virus per 100,00 people.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is also now advising against all but essential travel to the two countries, based on an assessment of COVID-19 risks.

The lists of countries exempt from UK quarantine restrictions can be found at the relevant links: EnglandScotlandWalesNorthern Ireland.
