Andorra, the Bahamas and Belgium added to UK quarantine list

Andorra, the Bahamas and Belgium have been removed from the UK's travel corridor list.

It means that travellers arriving into the UK from those countries will have to self-isolate for fourteen days. The new rules will come into effect in Wales at midnight on Friday 7 August and at 4am on the same day in the rest of the UK.

The decision to remove the countries from the quarantine-free list comes following a rise in Coronavirus cases in the countries.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office are now advising against all but essential travel to Andorra, the Bahamas and Belgium, but it is not advising UK tourists in those countries to leave immediately.

The three countries are the latest to be removed from the travel corridors list. Spain and Luxembourg have both been removed from the list recently, meaning UK arrivals from these countries will have to self-isolate.
