President Trump announces 'missiles will be coming'

US President Donald Trump has taken to Twitter to say 'missiles will be coming' after he promised a decision on Washington's response to last week's suspected chemical weapons attack in Syria. The Syrian government and Russia both deny an attack took place in the rebel-held town of Douma, which is thought to have killed 70 people.

Following President Trump's tweet, the Russian Ruble has plunged.

 

In a change of tone, Mr Trump has tweeted again...

 

 

A spokeswoman from the Russian foreign ministry has responded to President Trump's call to the end "the arms race" by saying "great idea, let's start with U.S. chemical weapons.

 

In another tweet, Mr Trump has claimed 'much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation'
