The First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford has announced the further planned easing of lockdown measures in Wales for later this month.
The Welsh Government plans to allow playgrounds and community centres to reopen from July 20. From July 27, beauty salons, tattoo parlours, accommodation with shared facilities, cinemas, museums and galleries will be able to reopen (subject to confirmation later this month).
Tomorrow, self-contained accommodation will be able to open in Wales for the first time in months after closures due to the Coronavirus lockdown measures. From Monday, hairdressers, most indoor attractions and outdoor areas for pubs, bars and restaurants can reopen in Wales.
The First Minister said on Friday that pubs and restaurants may be able to open indoors from 3 August provided they can operate in a Coronavirus-safe way.
No date has been announced for the reopening of gyms, swimming pools and leisure centres, but the Welsh Government has said that it is holding discussions on how these will be able to reopen safely.
