Donald Trump urged Russia not to attack Idlib on Monday; on Tuesday Russia attacked Idlib. Russian forces began airstrikes in Idlib province, the last stronghold of the Syrian resistance. The offensive is a joint operation between Russian, Iranian and Syrian forces and is widely considered to be the last major battle of the Syrian civil war.

The Labour party have agreed to adopt the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism, ending months of speculation and controversy. The party had previously adopted the IHRA rules into the party platform, however, had left out four of the eleven points. This move comes after fresh accusations of anti-Semitism arose given the re-election of Peter Willsman to the Labour NEC.

Amazon has become the second trillion-dollar company. This comes just weeks after Apple reached the landmark valuation by Wall Street. This valuation also raises fresh questions of Amazon who have been accused of tax avoidance, underpaying workers and providing unsafe warehouse conditions.

Despite potentially millions of artefacts being destroyed in the Brazilian National Museum fire, one artefact survived the flames. The Bendego meteorite, which is amongst the largest ever found in Brazil was left relatively unharmed. It is believed around 90% of the artefacts have been destroyed.
