EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier has criticised Theresa May’s White Paper with regards to the future of businesses in the EU after a meeting of the EU27 in Brussels on Friday.


The public spending watchdog, the National Audit Office, has stated that UK drivers may have to purchase a permit in order to drive on EU roads. In NAO’s report, they stated that this might be a possibility in the case of a no-deal situation between the UK and the EU. If no mutual agreement is made, then drivers may have to pay for the permit which will cost around £5.50.
