Brexit talks regarding what will happen to the Irish border are due to start later. The UK and EU have both agreed that there should be no hard border, but differences on how to achieve this goal remain.
Negotiations on Monday in Brussels will look at customs, food safety, animal health and the regulation of other goods.
Last week EU leaders agreed a transition deal with the UK – however this deal will only stand once a deal has been reached on the Irish border.
